This course teaches you the fundamental skills necessary to configure and manage modern, open standards-based networking solutions using Aruba’s OS-CX routing and switching technologies. This course consists of approximately 60% lecture and 40% hands-on lab exercises to help you learn how to implement and validate small to medium enterprise network solutions. This 5-day course prepares network professionals for the Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) exam.

This course teaches you the advanced skills necessary to implement and operate enterprise-level Aruba Campus Access solutions. You will build on the skills you learned at the Associate level to configure, secure, and manage modern, open standards-based wired and wireless network solutions using Aruba’s switching, mobility, security, and management technologies. In this course, participants learn about technologies including but not limited to: secure port access with Aruba’s dynamic segmentation, redundancy technologies such as Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), link aggregation techniques, including Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) and switch virtualization with Aruba’s Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) and Aruba’s Virtual Switching Framework (VSF). This course is approximately 50% lecture and 50% hands-on lab exercises.

Managing Aruba Cloud-Based Networks with Central

This 3 day course teaches students how Aruba Central, Aruba’s cloud-based networking system, enables IT staff to manage and monitor both wired and wireless environments. This course includes topics such as Central RESTAPI and teaches students new MSP features within HPE GreenLake. Students will learn how to simplify the onboarding and provisioning process for new network devices, such as Aruba access points, switches and gateways. This course will teach learners how VisualRF integrates with Central and how to configure traditional IAPs (AOS8) and AOS10 APs with Aruba Central as well as and how to leverage other value-added network services such as guest access, AIOps, contact tracing and presence analytics. Students will also learn several best practices for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting services that will help them proactively assess and improve their network performance. Advanced Management of Aruba Cloud-Based Networks with Central

This 2- day course will focus on some advanced Aruba Central services and features such as Clients Insight, Cloud Authentication, Advanced API, and Certificate Management. Clients Insight uses AI and ML to analyze and identify various devices on the network, giving network administrators visibility of client types and behaviors. Cloud Auth brings flexibility to the network access control by using cloud identity providers, such as Microsoft Azure AD and Google Workspace, as authentication sources, applying the proper access role to each client. On the advanced API module, you will explore the various API types and the most common use cases. Students will also learn how to manage certificates with Aruba Central. Through lectures and hands- on labs, the course will provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to take full advantage of Aruba Central while keeping the network secure

The Aruba Network Security Fundamentals course covers foundational security concepts and prepares candidates to take the exam to achieve Aruba Certified Networking Security Associate (ACNSA) certification. The course describes common security threats and vulnerabilities and provides an overview of important security technologies. It teaches how to create a trusted network infrastructure with Aruba mobility solutions and switches. In addition to discussing device hardening, the course discusses implementing security at the edge with AAA, basic roles and firewall policies, dynamic segmentation, and endpoint classification. The course will further explain basic threat detection technologies and how to collect logs and alarms and use them to initiate an investigation.

This course helps admins use the Aruba portfolio to implement Zero Trust Security (ZTS) and protect their networks from threats. It explains how to configure Aruba network infrastructure and ClearPass solutions to authenticate and control both wired and wireless users, as well as remote users on a client-to-site VPN. The course further explains how to collect a variety of contextual information on ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and implement advanced role mapping and enforcement policies. This course is structured to help the candidate gain this highest level of expertise, with Aruba wired switching solutions, including the ability to implement and optimize enterprise level Aruba Switching campus LAN solutions. The course focuses on interpreting complex network architectures and customer requirements to implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize multi-vendor network solutions. This course is approximately 30% lecture and 70% hands-on lab scenario-based exercises.

The candidate is encouraged to use critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues in the environments that are beyond the expertise of the professional level integrator. During the performance of his/her primary tasks, the candidate is encouraged to also demonstrate the highest level of strategic thinking and problem solving. This will include defining operational plans for desired outcomes for the purpose of satisfying immediate requirements as well as anticipated future growth opportunities.

This advanced course uses a real-world case study on which participants will learn how to design, deploy and troubleshoot several aspects of the ClearPass security product. This 5-day training is focused on active student participation, design exercises, introduction of new features and hands-on labs.

Configuring Aruba SD Branch

This 3-day course teaches the knowledge, skills and practical experience to set up, configure and troubleshoot an Aruba SD Branch installation. Using lecture and labs, this course provides the technical understanding and hands-on experience of configuring an SD Branch installation consisting of multiple WAN uplinks and Branch redundancy.
